Testimony Submitted to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce by Lynn Helms

This is the testimony provided by Lynn D. Helms, Director of the Department of Mineral Resources of the Industrial Commission of the State of North Dakota to the House Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources. The testimony provides information on the Bakken shale formation in North Dakota and how it is providing this country with an abundant and critical domestic energy resource. It also provides to the competency and commitment of state oil and gas regulators to protect the states’ drinking water resources in the development of the country’s shale energy resources.

Production Tops 100,000
